Big 2 Rules:
1) There are three types of ways to shed: as a single, a pair, or a five style (following poker rules).
2) The Big TWO refers to the fact that the four 2's in the deck are the highest numerical rank. Thus, the rank follows standard order after the Big TWO: 2, A, K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, and then the lowest card being 3.
3) In addition to a numerical rank, this current Big TWO rule set also follows a suit rank in the following order from highest to lowest: Spades, Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds. Thus, the 2 of Spades is the highest single card; and the 3 of Diamonds in the smallest single card.
4) When one of the three types of legal plays are started, subsequent cards must also be shed of the same type until three players pass in succession: single cards follow single cards, pairs follow pairs, five style follow five style.
5) A pair of equal ranked cards - twos are highest and threes are lowest. Any higher ranked pair beats one with lower ranks. Between equal ranked pairs, the one containing the highest suit is better - for example 9 of Spades plus 9 of Diamonds beats 9 of Hearts plus 9 of Clubs because the Spade is higher than the Heart, but Q of Clubs plus Q of Diamonds beats J of Spades plus J of Hearts because Queens beat Jacks.
6) There are five types of playable poker-style five style combinations. In ascending order they are: straight, flush, full house, four of a kind, straight flush.
